Capco is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support a client initiative focused on integrating an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform with a corporate Data Warehouse and other downstream systems.
The primary focus of this position will be to design and develop integration adapters and data pipelines using AWS Lambda and Python. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in ETL and systems integration, as well as experience in developing scalable, event-driven integrations in cloud environments.
This is a development-focused integration position and does not require responsibility for creating or managing data models.

Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement integration adapters connecting an ETRM platform to a corporate Data Warehouse and other downstream systems.
- Develop serverless integration components using AWS Lambda and Python.
- Build and maintain ETL and data integration pipelines, ensuring reliable data movement and transformation between different systems.
- Develop event-driven and streaming integrations, where applicable.
- Collaborate with ETRM, data, and application teams to understand source and target system requirements.
- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, monitoring, and operational control mechanisms for integrations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to integration and data flow between different systems.
- Follow development, testing, deployment, and documentation standards throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Collaborate with distributed client and Capco teams to ensure timely delivery of integration components.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration development.
- Proficiency in developing integrations using Python.
- Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless application development.
- Proficiency in designing and developing APIs, adapters, or integration services between enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Familiarity with relational databases and Data Warehouses, including SQL.
- Solid understanding of data transformation, mapping, and validation, as well as integration patterns.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed delivery teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with integrating ETRM/CTRM platforms or other trading systems.
- Experience in the energy, commodities, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), or trading sectors.
- Familiarity with AWS integration and messaging services, such as Amazon S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, or API Gateway.
- Experience integrating trading platforms with enterprise systems, such as pricing/market data platforms, ERP systems, and Data Warehouses.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployment of serverless applications on AWS.
- Experience in developing high-volume or near real-time integrations.
