We are looking for a professional with experience in backend development using Java, JEE, and Quarkus to work on strategic projects for a major financial institution.
The position will focus on the development of APIs and microservices, integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, authentication, authorization, and application security.

You will take on the following responsibilities
Act in the development, maintenance, and evolution of backend applications using Java, JEE, and Quarkus, focusing on robust and secure solutions for the financial sector.
You will be responsible for building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices, implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, as well as supporting the monitoring, observability, and performance analysis of applications in hybrid and highly complex environments.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve backend applications using Java, JEE, and Quarkus.
- Act in the development of solutions and tools related to the ARQ 3.0 platform.
- Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Develop integrations with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Implement role-based access controls, using RBAC.
- Apply security mechanisms, such as MFA, Smart Lockout, Passkey, and passwordless authentication.
- Work in hybrid environments, involving on-premises and cloud Azure infrastructure.
- Support the monitoring, observability, and performance analysis of applications.
- Use containerization and orchestration practices with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in the implementation of new functionalities and improvements in corporate systems.
- Ensure the technical quality, security, performance, and stability of solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.
Requirements and skills we are looking for
- Completed Higher Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
- Experience in backend development with Java, JEE, and Quarkus.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, RBAC, hybrid Azure environments, Docker or Kubernetes, Git, and observability with Cisco AppDynamics, Angular, Grafana.
