Job Description
- As an SAP Finance specialist, you will work with us and our clients to develop suitable concepts to optimize our clients' SAP-based processes as part of their transformation projects.
- Depending on the focus, you will work with our team to design, for example, functional and technical target processes in the SAP Finance environment, IT and data architectures, procedural models (classic, agile, hybrid), the development of data analyses, or migration procedures.
- You are responsible for project execution and management, requirements analysis, conceptual design, technical design, or customizing and support in the SAP environment.
- You will become an active part of our SAP team and can further expand your expertise within the Sopra Steria SAP community and our internal global network, as well as introduce and develop your own topics.
- You will develop AI-supported solution approaches and automations, critically evaluate their added value and limitations, and derive concrete impulses from them to further develop existing processes and establish new ones.
- Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our clients and your project situation – you will work throughout Germany in our offices, on-site at the client's location, and from home.
Qualifications
- You have a completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
- You can demonstrate sound professional experience in SAP consulting, particularly in the context of SAP FI/CO and SAP ERP, and ideally have also gained initial knowledge in the area of S/4HANA, customizing, and/or SAP ABAP development.
- The implementation and migration of SAP FI/CO or ERP to S/4HANA are as enjoyable for you as conducting training sessions and supporting key users.
- You are familiar with common accounting standards (HGB, BilMoG, IFRS).
- You use AI tools in a targeted and reflective manner, critically evaluate results, and effectively incorporate current technological developments and innovative impulses into your work, projects, and client solutions.
- Good German language skills (from B2 level) as well as English language skills round off your profile.
