What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data processing solutions in an AWS environment
- Architect Big Data pipelines with Apache Spark and AWS EMR for complex data loads
- Develop applications in Java and serverless solutions with AWS Lambda integrated with cloud services
- Orchestrate containers and microservices with Amazon EKS to support critical operations
- Design data workflows with Apache Airflow to ensure automation, reliability, and traceability
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical requirements and ensure efficient integrations
- Guide the team on best practices for development, cloud architecture, and data engineering
- Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and costs of implemented solutions
What you need to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Proficiency in Java for developing enterprise applications and distributed processing
- Solid experience with Apache Spark, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, and Apache Airflow
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, data integration, microservices, and serverless solutions
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills
What would be great to have (Preferred)
- Experience in large-scale data conversion, migration, or modernization projects
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and cost optimization practices in AWS
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks for data and applications
- Involvement in agile environments with multidisciplinary squads focused on value delivery
- Familiarity with data security, governance, and quality in cloud ecosystems
