CI&T is looking for an experienced and results-oriented professional to join a strategic data infrastructure modernization project for a prominent client in the healthcare sector. This position is central to the delivery pipeline: it closes the upstream by defining the solution architecture and development environment, and drives the downstream through requirements, code, and testing — delivering the solution ready for production deployment.
The Senior Cloud Data Developer will be responsible for architecting and building the migration of on-premises database environments to the Azure cloud, from technical design to tested code. They will act with autonomy and critical thinking, exercising technical judgment on the solutions generated and being accountable for the quality of their delivery.

Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Design the technical architecture for migrating on-premises databases to managed Azure cloud data services, defining the environment, integration roadmap, and design decisions in a pragmatic and scalable manner.
- Development and Migration: Build and execute data migration processes — including modeling, transformation, transfer, and validation — ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance in the new cloud infrastructure.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with business and technology areas, translating needs into viable, simple, and non-over-engineered technical solutions.
- Environment Mapping: Participate in mapping the current (as-is) environment and defining the future (to-be) architecture, contributing technical vision to the data infrastructure modernization plan.
- Engineering Best Practices: Apply modern software architecture fundamentals — microservices, event-driven systems, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), test-driven development (TDD), and automation — to build, evaluate, and critique generated solutions.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Record and communicate technical decisions, progress, and impediments with organization and proactivity, using management and collaboration tools, within agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
Requirements
- Solid experience with Azure cloud, including architecture and deployment of data solutions in a managed cloud environment.
- Mastery of modern architectures: microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, and TDD.
- Experience in migrating databases from on-premises environments to the cloud, with attention to data integrity, performance, and availability.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking to translate business and technology demands into well-founded technical solutions.
- Good communication skills for interaction with business and technology stakeholders, including clear documentation of requirements and decisions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and collaboration/documentation tools.
Differentiators
- Experience with containerization and orchestration of cloud environments (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift environments or Azure equivalents).
- Certifications in Azure cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar).
- Experience or familiarity with agentic SDLC and the use of AI as an active lever for software construction.
- Previous experience in healthcare sector projects or in modernizing critical portals and systems.
- Experience with multi-agent solutions and orchestration of AI workflows in the context of software development.
