About the opportunity

- Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end integration solutions, connecting mainframe applications with cloud and Linux (Azure) environments.
- Solid experience in DB2 administration, performance optimization, data modeling, and data integration, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of mission-critical systems.
- Hands-on experience with middleware platforms (IBM MQ, Axway CFT), file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS), and event streaming (Kafka), enabling robust and efficient data exchange in heterogeneous system environments.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex multi-layered challenges, encompassing applications, data, and infrastructure. Experience in automation, batch processing (Control-M/JCL), and modernization of legacy environments.
- Recognized for a holistic, architecture-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders in international environments.
Technical Requirements
- COBOL – hands-on development experience and understanding of legacy systems.
- DB2 LUW and/or DB2 z/OS:
- Administration and maintenance
- Backups and recovery
- Modeling and DDL (e.g., table creation)
- Index management
- Performance tuning and analysis
- Data loading and extraction (Load/Unload)
- Knowledge of Mainframe and its integration with distributed systems.
- Cloud (Azure) and Linux environments, including automation via scripting.
- Control-M / JCL – creation and administration of workflows and job scheduling.
- IBM MQ – configuration of channels, queues, and use of tools like MQ Explorer.
- Rocket Enterprise Server.
- Axway CFT – configuration of transfer flows.
- Transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS.
