About the opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evolve legacy Mainframe systems.
- Develop solutions using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and SQL.
- Perform functional and technical system analysis.
- Gather requirements from business areas.
- Prepare technical documentation and functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain COBOL programs in Mainframe and Micro Focus environments.
- Develop and maintain JCLs, SYSINs, and batch routines.
- Perform maintenance on COBOL/DB2 programs.
- Operate and monitor batch schedules using Control-M, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Analyze and correct failures (abends), performing restarts, reruns, and reprocessing.
- Perform analysis in TSO/ISPF environments.
- Make changes to JCLs, parameters, datasets, DDs, RCs, and conditionals.
- Support production, staging, and deployment environments.
- Execute unit tests and support integrated testing.
- Work together with multidisciplinary teams using agile methodology.
Technical and Experience Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Mainframe development.
- Solid knowledge of:COBOLJCLCICSDB2SQL
- / Knowledge of SIX, experience in Batch and Online development.
- Experience with Control-M Mainframe.
- Knowledge of TSO/ISPF.
- Experience with analysis and handling of Abends.
- Knowledge of SYSIN, datasets, GDG, VSAM, RCs, and Steps.
- Experience in corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
- Experience with Mainframe architecture.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of COBOL Micro Focus.
- Oracle database.
- Mainframe utilities (SORT, IDCAMS), Changeman
