Shipping & handling responsibilities
- System Design & Development: Build and maintain the full stack web application features including scalable, distributed microservices.
- Technical Leadership: Own complex features from technical design to production deployment adhering to high-performance and reliability standards.
- Engineering Excellence: Owning technical strategy to enhance and support core web application stack, ensuring performance and accuracy for high-throughput traffic.
- Operational Health: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production incidents, and maintain high SLAs.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Infrastructure, Designer, API Partners) and setting high engineering standards.
- Infrastructure: Improve CI/CD pipelines, container-based software distribution (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability.
Your shipping requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development
- Experience building and maintaining highly available, scalable web applications
- Proficiency in programming language and frameworks commonly used in full-stack development on distributed systems. (e.g.,React, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL)
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with AI assisted development workflow.
- Can effectively communicate to stakeholders across different organizations within the company
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- BSc in a STEM field, with a preference for computer science and software engineering
