What you will do day-to-day
- Design, implement, and evolve observability solutions, including metrics, logs, and tracing, focusing on reliability, performance, and end-to-end visibility;
- Develop automations to reduce manual activities, known as toil, increasing operational efficiency and environment scalability;
- Operate, sustain, and evolve Cloud and Kubernetes environments, ensuring good operational practices, governance, and reliability of production and non-production environments;
- Lead critical incident management as Incident Commander, coordinating war rooms and supporting decision-making in high-criticality scenarios;
- Participate in discussions about application and infrastructure architecture, proposing improvements and promoting practices of SRE, Observability as Code, Software Engineering, and Shift-Left;
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency through FinOps practices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and influencing technical decisions and strategic priorities;
- Explore and apply Artificial Intelligence for automation, productivity, innovation, and acceleration of deliveries.
What we are looking for in the person who will be part of the team
- Solid experience in SRE, Observability, or Platform Engineering;
- Experience with Cloud environments, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP;
- Knowledge of distributed environments and microservices;
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Go, or similar;
- Experience in automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code;
- Experience in sustaining and operating critical platforms;
- Analytical profile and strong problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication with technical audiences, executives, and business areas;
- Intermediate or advanced English;
- Completed Higher Education in related areas.
Additionally, knowledge is desirable
- Experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools;
- Knowledge in FinOps and Cloud Cost Management;
- Experience in multi-cloud and/or multi-cluster environments;
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence applied to engineering and operations;
- Involvement in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Enablement teams;
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
