Application Support 2nd/3rd level (Mid-level)
Main tasks to develop
- Understand procedures and participate in the task automation process.
- Management, monitoring, and control of service levels.
- Identification of problems and implementation of monitoring solutions for service control.
- Communication with Technical/Functional teams
- Building and updating documentation and support materials for services.
- Analysis, documentation, and improvement of internal processes and tools.
- Analysis and resolution of incidents and problems.
- 24/7 Application Support, with on-call duty.
- Development of tools and processes within service management
Mandatory technical skills and knowledge
- Strong functional analysis component.
- SQL/MYSQL.
- Use of Unix/Linux environment.
- Scripting languages (e.g., KSH/Bash; Python; Perl).
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks (TCP/IP).
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Use of UNIX/Linux operating systems.
Desirable technical skills and knowledge
- Degree in Computer Engineering or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations or application support.
- Knowledge of ITIL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of regular expressions.
- Experience in process automation.
- Knowledge of Ansible, applied to task and configuration automation.
- Experience using Grafana, including creating dashboards and alerts.
- ELK Stack, Grafana, LogStash
- Creation of Ansible playbooks
- GITLAB.
Work arrangement
Hybrid (3 days per week in the Lisbon office).
