Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, building, and sustaining high-performance software to meet project objectives. Your mission is to transform business requirements into scalable backend Java code and systems (Spring Boot), integrating modern Generative Artificial Intelligence and LLMs solutions throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Following architectural definitions and agile SDLC processes, the professional will act with critical analysis in investigating and solving complex technical problems. In addition to developing consistent code and applying good software engineering practices, you will work on optimizing workflows using AI to accelerate delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and transparency for the client and management.
- Software Lifecycle (SDLC) Involvement: Actively participate in all SDLC phases (planning, requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous maintenance), ensuring deliveries align with quality standards.
- Java Development and AI Integration: Design, develop, and sustain resilient backend systems and RESTful APIs in Java/Spring Boot, connecting the ecosystem to large-scale artificial intelligence models (LLMs).
- Workflow Modernization: Implement and optimize AI-based algorithms, automation processes, and coding tools to accelerate SDLC stages (code writing, automated testing, documentation) and increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Requirements and Collaboration: Participate in refinement meetings, translating business needs into functional and efficient solutions. Collaborate in the rituals of the adopted agile framework, assisting with time and resource estimations.
- Architecture, Messaging, and Data: Follow architectural patterns (microservices, Design Patterns) and build efficient data flows using databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka or RabbitMQ).
- Quality and Testing: Ensure code stability and quality through automated tests (unit, integration, and e2e with JUnit and Mockito), code reviews, and Clean Code principles.
- DevOps and Continuous Delivery: Work in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) under the CI/CD culture within the SDLC, ensuring continuous delivery and effective integration of new technologies.
- Problem Solving and Observability: Conduct investigations, diagnostics, and corrections of complex defects in code, data, or production environments.
- Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Document code and technical processes, staying updated on market technologies and trends to enhance the project.
