Essential Functions
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and monitoring, observability, and automation tools.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, Table API, Import Set API, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Configure REST Messages and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, API Keys, and mutual TLS.
- Create reusable Spokes, Actions, Subflows, and integrations using Integration Hub and Flow Designer.
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot MID Servers.
- Configure Connectors, Transform Maps, Event Filters, and Custom Event Collectors.
- Transform and normalize payloads received from multiple sources.
- Implement error handling, retry, logging, monitoring, and auditing mechanisms.
- Develop server-side scripts using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Utilize GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, and other Glide API components.
- Work with Update Sets, Source Control, ATF, and transport practices between environments.
- Implement integrations with tools such as Zabbix, Elastic, New Relic, Dynatrace, BSM, SiteScope, Grafana, and ThousandEyes.
- Develop integrations with automation platforms, including triggering self-healing processes.
- Support unit, integration, performance, security validation, and UAT testing.
- Diagnose communication, authentication, transformation, and performance issues.
- Produce technical designs, interface specifications, data mappings, and operational procedures.
- Support deployments, go-live, stabilization, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a technical reference and guide other professionals involved in integrations.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in software development, automation, or integrations.
- Experience with development and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience implementing and integrating ServiceNow with external tools (preferably monitoring).
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and Glide API.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Proven experience with MID Server installation, configuration, and administration.
- Knowledge of Transform Maps, Import Sets, Event Processing, and payload normalization.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, or automation tools.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- ServiceNow CIS-ITOM Visibility certification.
- English for reading/producing technical documentation and participating in meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience with ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.
- Dynatrace Professional certification.
- Zabbix Certified Specialist certification.
- Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
- Red Hat certification related to Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience with New Relic NerdGraph API.
- Experience with Dynatrace REST API v2.
- Experience with Grafana Unified Alerting.
- Experience with ThousandEyes REST API.
- Experience with legacy tools (Micro Focus BSM, SiteScope).
- Knowledge of CI/CD, ATF, and Source Control in ServiceNow.
- Spanish for professional interaction with Latin American teams.
