About the Role and Mission
You will be part of our product engineering team focused on the structuring, maintenance, and evolution of the Super App chat channel.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Develop, evolve, and maintain microservices-based systems using Java (11/17/21) and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Micronaut.
- Model RESTful APIs following the API First approach (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Work with relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Participate in architecture definition, contributing with design and scalability best practices.
- Implement secure solutions using JWT, OAuth2, and Basic Auth authentication/authorization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development and quality processes.
- Support junior team members in development and troubleshooting.
What We Are Looking For
Required
- Completed higher education in a Technological Graduation program (Tecnólogo).
- Solid experience in Java (11, 17 or higher) and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA.
- Practical experience in building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Database knowledge: modeling and optimization in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
- Experience with AWS, using services and components such as EC2, EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, ELB, among others.
- Experience with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration and delivery practices (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and microservices.
- Knowledge of distributed architecture patterns (CQRS, Event Sourcing).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience with automated testing practices (unit, integration, contract).
